Thank you for your inquiry. This only comes in a frosted glass shade. The brightness would depend on the type of light bulb that you use. This product is compatible with LED, CFL and incandescent bulbs.
Does the back plate mount flush with the wall? Also, how wide is the back plate? Thanks.
There is a decorative plate on the front part of the fixture that is 5 1/2" wide and another plate behind that which is 3/4" deep by 4 1/4" wide. The back plate that is 4 1/4" wide is flush with the wall not the decorative plate.
