Artistic Design Meets Functionality
Linea Lighting was born out of a powerful motivation to do things better. Our founder and CEO Purav (Bob) Kapedia was in the midst of a kitchen renovation when the contractor asked him to select pendant lights to go above the kitchen island. He went to a dozen lighting stores and looked through websites, but couldn't find anything that was contemporary, well-built and reasonably priced. Bob, who is also the CEO of Linea’s sister company Startex, decided to design his own. He sketched out a few ideas and sent them to the production team and Linea Lighting was born. Bob installed two above his kitchen island, where they sit today. That first light he designed is now part of the Effimero collection and is just one of the many quality Linea Lighting fixtures we sell. Read more about how Linea Lighting got its start here.
